After many successful years, Shelly had to withdraw as partner due to serious health problems. Shortly thereafter, Brian decided on a career change. Jeremy Fehrman, the second brother and youngest, took over the reigns in June of 1994. To this day, Jeremy continues the tradition of the highest quality services available. However, Jeremy wanted to take Clean Sweep Services in a new direction. As a full-service janitorial firm, he gained vast knowledge and skill of the entire cleaning process. He decided to focus and apply this knowledge and skill to the residential carpet and upholstery cleaning industry. In 1998, his wife Nicole joined Jeremy in his efforts. They became certified in carpet/rug and upholstery/fabric cleaning and water damage restoration through the IICRC. The IICRC, the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, is the world’s largest certifying body for the cleaning industry. Since then, Jeremy has gained certifications in fire and smoke damage restoration, odor control, and commercial carpet maintenance. Because of this amount of education and over 3 years of experience, Jeremy has achieved Journeyman Cleaning/Restoration Technician. This is one of the highest designations from the IICRC. This additional education vastly improved their skills and set them far apart as the premier cleaning company available in the Fox Valley.
